About the role

The Personal Banker II position at Fifth Third Bank is dedicated to providing an exceptional customer experience by building and maintaining long-lasting relationships with existing and prospective customers. This role involves helping customers understand and address their financial needs, offering solutions that span across the customer's lifecycle using a consultative sales and service process.

Responsibilities

• Create a memorable customer experience by cultivating, maintaining, and enhancing relationships in a book of business through proactive outreach efforts in person, over the phone, or other channels as appropriate.
• Utilize a consultative approach with current or prospective customers to uncover and identify their needs while tailoring recommendations, solutions, and advice.
• Maintain a working knowledge of products, services, and processes offered.
• Collaborate with internal partners to ensure customer needs are met and all problems are resolved.
• Analyze customer credit data and other related financial information to ensure customers are in the appropriate solutions that align with their needs.
• Provide customer support needed, reinforcing the value of current and new technology.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED, along with 1 year of customer service experience, or a college degree or equivalent military experience.
• Experience in a sales environment required; experience in the financial industry is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to develop comfort level with both new household acquisitions and deepening customer relationships.
• Capable of analyzing credit and financial information.
• Exhibits business acumen.
• Demonstrated ability in making sound decisions.

Qualifications

The position requires S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).

Skills

This role requires the ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in verbal and written communication, and to follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other related policies.

Pay

Total Base Pay Range: $44,300.00 - $73,000.00 USD

Schedule

Normal office environment. Extended viewing of computer screens. Periodic travel within the Bancorp footprint to attend meetings and/or training.
