Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) for their National Branch Network within the Consumer Banking and Lending division.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships through proactive outreach and propose appropriate products, services, and digital solutions to help customers succeed financially.
• Aid customers with basic requests such as opening new accounts, completing service requests, and submitting credit applications.
• Exercise judgement within defined policies and procedures to assist customers in understanding bank products and services.
• Connect with customers to demonstrate care and build relationships.
• Offer appropriate options for bank products and services to customers and refer customers' financial needs to other bankers and partners as needed.
• Engage in customer interactions that may include the offering/negotiating of terms and/or taking an application for a dwelling secured transaction.

Requirements

• 6+ months of interacting with customers experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
• Bilingual speaking and listening proficiency in Spanish/English.

• Customer service focus with experience handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
• Proactive engagement with customers through outreach via phone or email.
• Ability to educate and connect customers to technology and share the value of mobile banking options.
• Experience fostering and developing strong customer relationships.
• Ability to follow policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Ability to identify potential fraud/risky accounts and take appropriate action to prevent loss.
• Ability to interact with integrity and professionalism with customers and team members.

Job Expectations

• Must take and pass required language assessment.
• Maintain cash drawer, cash handling and balancing and spend time completing service-related tasks as needed.
• This position requires SAFE registration at the time of employment.
• The Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) website provides the MU4R questions and registration required for employment in this position.
• Candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening, if necessary.
