WSFS Bank's Personal Bankers will be responsible for providing products and services to enhance our Customer relationships. The incumbent will get to know their customers, understand and educate them regarding their financial needs, and recommend the appropriate products and services through in-person interactions and outbound calling efforts. This role will be responsible for opening new accounts and submitting loan applications. The incumbent will comply with Bank policies and procedures, as well as regulatory banking requirements. Personal Bankers will resolve customer service issues and perform account maintenance requests for customers as needed, while also recommending and promoting the Bank’s digital banking services. Additionally, this role will assist Customers with teller transactions and will be responsible for processing various transactions in a timely, efficient, accurate, and friendly manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide products and services to enhance customer relationships
• Get to know customers, understand and educate them regarding financial needs
• Recommend appropriate products and services via in-person interactions and outbound calling
• Open new accounts
• Submit loan applications
• Comply with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Resolve customer service issues
• Perform account maintenance requests
• Recommend and promote digital banking services
• Assist customers with teller transactions
• Process various transactions timely, efficiently, accurately, and in a friendly manner
• Participate in continuous learning through classroom and hands‑on training at various banking offices
• Apply knowledge and skills during a 4‑6 month training period covering transaction processing, account opening, referral techniques, customer service, and relationship building
• Receive training in relationship‑building and referral techniques to make optimal product/service recommendations and expand the branch’s customer base

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• At least one year of face‑to‑face customer service experience
• Previous cash handling experience required
• Prior sales experience required
• Proven ability to work with customers in an enthusiastic manner
• Previous experience in a retail sales environment strongly preferred
• Proven attention to detail
• Ability to use and learn multiple banking and software programs
• Proven excellent customer service skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to market Bank products and services
• One year of previous banking experience preferred
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer‑sponsored visa (e.g., H‑1B); WSFS does not intend to file visa applications

Pay

Salary range: $37,440 – $52,800. Individual base pay may vary based on candidate experience, job‑related skills, relevant education, geographic location, and other business needs. In addition to base salary, WSFS Financial Corporation may offer eligible Associates discretionary and formula‑based incentive and retention awards.
