Responsibilities

  • Build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and provide solutions.
  • Open new accounts, onboard new relationships, originate loans and lines, refer to partners to help meet additional needs.
  • Make out-of-office business development calls to businesses, community organizations, and referral sources.
  • Adhere to bank policies and procedures designed to comply with Federal regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act and OFAC regulations.
  • Reflect the core values and ethics of WaFd Bank, including integrity, teamwork, ownership, simplicity, discipline, and service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Good math skills, 10-key and keyboarding.
  • Proficient in standard Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, Teams, PowerBI and Outlook.
  • Well-developed smartphone and digital channel skills.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills and superior written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate how to use automated technology to teach clients self-service skills.
  • Valid driver’s license, satisfactory transportation, and adequate insurance coverage.
  • Prior banking experience, including familiarity with lending, previous work in retail, consumer service delivery, or client relations.
