Personal Banker

Utah First Credit Union is seeking to add a full-time Personal Banker to the team at our South Jordan, UT branch.

About the role

As a Personal Banker, you find it rewarding to generate consumer loans that benefit customers' lives. Your superb customer service skills allow you to build lasting relationships with our customers. You open new accounts, take loan applications, and disburse loan applications for customers. You capture business by cross-selling credit union products and services that meet their needs and improve their financial well-being. Each month, you strive to meet and exceed individual and branch loan production goals.

Your responsibilities include completing transactions for a variety of requests such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, checks, money orders, and cash advances. In addition to serving customers in person, you interact with them over the phone. In every interaction, you provide exceptional customer experiences. To stay at the top of your game, you participate in individual and credit union training. You work in an upbeat, fast-paced environment to help customers achieve their financial goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 18 years or older
• Customer service and financial services experience
• Experience in consumer lending
• Cash handling experience
• Value accuracy in work
• Respectful and tactful
• Passionate about providing efficient, world-class customer service
• Enjoy interacting with people and ensuring accuracy
• Great attention to detail
• Driven and ambitious
• Work well individually and in a team
• Strive to go the extra mile

Schedule

Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM and Saturdays 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

Pay

Competitive base wage starting at $20/hour, depending on experience, plus a generous incentive pay structure.
