Personal Banker

Utah First Credit Union is seeking to add a full-time Personal Banker to the team at our Provo, UT branch.

About the role

As a Personal Banker, you find it rewarding to generate consumer loans that benefit customers' lives. Your superb customer service skills allow you to build lasting relationships with our customers. You open new accounts, take loan applications, and disburse loan applications for customers. You capture business by cross-selling credit union products and services that meet their needs and improve their financial well-being. Each month, you strive to meet and exceed individual and branch loan production goals.

Your role includes completing transactions for a variety of requests such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, checks, money orders, and cash advances. In addition to serving customers in person, you also interact with them over the phone. You participate in individual and credit union training to stay at the top of your game and enjoy working in our upbeat, fast-paced environment to help customers achieve their financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to improve customers' financial lives
• Cross-sell products and services, including producing loans
• Open new accounts and take loan applications
• Disburse loan applications for customers
• Complete transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, checks, money orders, and cash advances
• Interact with customers in person and over the phone
• Meet and exceed individual and branch loan production goals
• Participate in training to maintain expertise

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 18 years or older
• Customer service and financial services experience
• Experience in consumer lending
• Cash handling experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well individually and in a team
• Driven, ambitious, and passionate about customer service

Schedule

Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM and Saturdays 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
