Schedule
- Monday - Thursday: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm
- Friday: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
- Must be flexible around branch hours
Responsibilities
- Prove competencies in bank operations by completing Sales Platform training, demonstrating product knowledge, sales aptitude, and service expectations, and executing expectations outlined in the Branch Playbook.
- Become CARE certified within 6 months of hire.
- Profile customers to determine and recommend appropriate S&T loan and deposit products.
- Utilize sales tools (e.g., LoanFit, sales binder) to enhance customer experience and sales conversations.
- Complete the S&T Sales process and customer-focused conversations, documenting notes in the appropriate system for future interactions.
- Input loan applications using appropriate LOS software and coordinate loan document preparation.
- Open new deposit accounts and produce signature cards, certificates of deposit, and other deposit documents.
- Use CARE skills, product knowledge, and policies to suggest additional bank services (e.g., loan accounts, deposit services, insurance products) and make referrals to Mortgage, Wealth Management, Financial Services, Business Banking, Elavon, Elan, Private Banking, Evergreen, Deluxe, etc.
- Contribute to Branch goals and sales/service standards as outlined in the Branch Playbook.
- Execute professional sales and service behaviors aligned with the Bank’s purpose, values, and core drivers.
- Follow up on loans and deposit accounts opened, correcting deficiencies or document exceptions in a timely manner.
- Utilize the Sales & Service guide to complete proposed campaign calls on new and existing customers to generate new business.
- Assist branch management in coaching staff regarding the S&T Sales process and expectations.
- Maintain strong working relationships with bank employees in other departments and business lines.
- Complete NLMS requirements as part of S.A.F.E. Act certification, including registration and annual maintenance.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the successful operation of the branch.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; specialized training or a two-year degree preferred.
- Two to five years of general experience; specialized experience preferred.
Physical Demands
- Operates a keypad device: 70% of the day.
- Operates electronic and office equipment: 20% of the day.
- Standing: 2 hours per day in a straight position.
- Sitting: 5 hours per day in a leaning position.
- Routinely lifts up to 10 lbs., 2 times per day; maximum lift is 20 lbs., one time per day.
- Occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50 lbs.
- Manual dexterity for typing and data entry up to 40% of the business day.
- Close vision (18”-20”) for computer work.

Pay
Salary Range: $20.00 - $39.09 per hour. Offered rates and salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data, experience, education, and position-specific skills.
