Personal Banker

Location: Rhinelander, WI

About the role

As a Personal Banker in Rhinelander, you’re the go-to guide for customers who want their money to work a little smarter. You’ll:

• Open new accounts and support customers with clear next steps
• Recommend fitting bank products and services based on customer needs
• Complete account transactions accurately and confidently
• Guide customers through the consumer lending process
• Pitch in with occasional teller transactions when the lobby gets busy
• Partner with the Branch Manager to strengthen the branch’s sales and service focus

Responsibilities

Your Monday–Friday, 8–5 rhythm starts with a look at what’s on deck—follow-ups, new conversations, and a few “can you help me with this?” moments. You’ll spend the day bouncing between the lobby, your desk, and the phone, keeping things moving and keeping people comfortable. Some customers come in with a simple request; others want help sorting out bigger decisions. You’ll listen, ask smart questions, and make sure they leave with a clear plan. In between, you’ll coordinate with the Branch Manager on progress toward the bank goals, and you’ll occasionally hop onto the teller line when the pace picks up. Expect plenty of variety—and plenty of chances to make someone’s day easier.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–3 years in banking, sales, and/or customer service
• Sales mindset with the ability to meet monthly/annual goals while delivering excellent service
• Strong communication, follow-up, organization, and comfort with technology
