Personal Banker

Job Requirements

• Achieve full banking relationships with clients.
• Familiarity with all of Lake Ridge Bank’s offerings is essential.
• Maintain expertise in deposit and consumer loan products and services.
• Resolve client needs/problems/issues and provide personalized service.
• Sell deposit and consumer loan products and services using effective sales skills.
• Open deposit accounts for clients, including checking, savings, CDs, and complete account paperwork.
• Process transactions such as cashing checks, account withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, etc., while balancing and maintaining a cash drawer.
• Onboard new clients/new accounts.
• Promote and maintain positive relations with all internal and external contacts, clients, and potential clients.
• Meet established benchmarks for individual, office, and department performance.
• Participate in sales, office, and staff meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information at all times.
• Participate in community involvement/bank activities.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Other Responsibilities

• Complete annual bank security and compliance training.
• Adhere to Bank Security guidelines as required for this position.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Stay current on all compliance regulations.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in a related field and/or 2 years equivalent work experience in a client services/sales environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to interact and communicate with a diverse group of clients.
• Ability to work a full-time, 40-hour schedule with flexibility between 7:15 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Availability to work Saturday rotations between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to make good decisions.
• Flexibility to adapt to an ever-changing work environment.
• Willingness and ability to participate in community functions where the office is involved.
• Ability to represent the organization in a professional, positive manner.
• Proven sales ability.

About the Role

A Personal Banker is responsible for delivering a premier client experience by helping clients with their consumer/retail banking needs. The primary responsibility is to develop and nurture client relationships, resolve client needs/problems/issues, and sell deposit and consumer loan products and services. This role requires familiarity with all of Lake Ridge Bank’s offerings, expertise in deposit and consumer loan products and services, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
