About the role

The Personal Banker and Relationship Banker positions at Fremont Bank are dedicated to delivering exceptional service and expanding client relationships. This includes providing Six Diamond Experience in customer service, recommending and referring products and services, and managing cash transactions.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service and exceed bank standards in customer interactions
• Identify and meet assigned sales and referral objectives
• Expand client relationships through effective use of client needs assessment tools
• Handle new account openings and servicing existing accounts, including business customers
• Follow and explain bank policies and procedures as directed
• Manage cash transactions and adhere to regulatory compliance
• Participate in various business development activities and training sessions
• Stay informed about bank promotions, products, and services
• Perform miscellaneous operational tasks as assigned

Requirements

• 2 years of sales and customer service experience in a banking environment, preferably with new account opening responsibilities
• Signing authority preferred
• Experience with small business deposit and lending products and prospecting
• Familiarity with bank products and effective sales techniques
• Understanding of banking regulatory compliance issues
• Excellent listening and presentation skills
• Minimum 1 year of cash handling experience
• Basic computer literacy and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Professional appearance
• High school diploma or GED
• College degree preferred
