Personal Banker
About the role
We are currently seeking a Personal Banker for our Streeterville Branch. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of credit unions, lending products and services, and the ability to recommend and cross-sell additional products. They must enjoy working with people and have strong telephone skills.
Responsibilities
- Analyze members' financial needs
- Work with various channels (in-person, telephone, online, mail) to receive consumer/personal deposit and loan applications
- Handle the entire process from start to finish, with a focus on new memberships and loans
- Follow up on new membership, pending lending applications, completed lending applications, and cross-sale tickets
- Engage in outbound calling to promote additional business
- Meet and exceed sales goals and incentives for household and product penetration
Requirements
- 2+ years of consumer sales experience
- Solid computer, analytical, math, and communication skills
- Financial Services experience is preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Knowledge of credit unions and lending products

Pay
The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is typically Monday through Friday, with some evening and weekend work as needed.
