About This Job

Our Personal Bankers are dedicated professionals who help customers navigate their financial challenges and improve their financial health. As a Personal Banker, you'll gain valuable insights into banking and finance while building meaningful relationships with customers.

Compensation

Hourly: $20.55 - $25.05 (Based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

Essential Functions

• Interact with customers both in person and over the phone to ensure their financial needs are met.
• Provide excellent customer experiences by easily connecting with customers.
• Educate customers on various retail products and digital solutions to enhance their financial wellness.
• Avoid errors in financial transactions and comply with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify complex financial needs and refer customers to specialists when necessary.
• Earn additional compensation through a quarterly incentive program.

• Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1 year of sales or customer service experience.
• Experience working in environments with individual and team sales goals is preferred.

Position Details

• This position may be filled as a Personal Banker I or II, depending on experience and education.
• Federal regulations require Commerce Bank to prepare an investigatory consumer report for applicants.
• The disclosed base pay range is $20.55 to $25.05 per hour.
• The position is eligible for additional compensation through a performance-based incentive plan.
