Compensation

Hourly: $20.55 - $25.05 (Based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

Personal Banker Role

• Receive tools, resources, and training to succeed
• Deliver an excellent customer experience in person and over the phone
• Listen actively to understand customer needs and make appropriate recommendations
• Educate customers on various retail products and digital solutions
• Achieve financial transaction accuracy and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations
• Refer customers to specialists for complex financial needs
• Earn more than base pay through quarterly incentive program

Schedule

Monday - Friday: 8:45 AM - 5:45 PM
Saturdays: 8:45 AM - 12:15 PM

Essential Functions

• Interact with customers in-person and over the phone to meet their financial needs
• Provide excellent customer service by understanding and recommending products and services
• Educate customers on various retail products and digital solutions
• Achieve sales and service goals
• Ensure financial transactions are accurate and compliant
• Identify complex financial needs and refer customers to specialists

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong sales skills for providing excellent customer experiences
• Ability to meet personal and branch sales and customer service expectations
• Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Adaptable to various situations with an optimistic outlook aligned with our culture and Core Values
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Education & Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of sales or customer service experience
• Experience working in environments with sales and customer service goals

Background Check

Federal regulations require Commerce Bank to prepare an investigatory consumer report which will disclose credit history. If you express interest in and are considered for this position, you will be asked to authorize that report.
