About the role

The Personal Banker delivers exceptional client experience by adhering to Breakthrough Client Experience Standards. Responsibilities include:

• Acquiring new and expanding existing client relationships by identifying needs, offering products and services, and referring clients to appropriate business partners.
• Uncovering and originating consumer lending opportunities.
• Providing immediate acknowledgment, identifying client needs, and responding to inquiries promptly.
• Engaging clients and prospects in financial reviews to provide solutions and uncover additional financial needs.
• Making recommendations and following through on commitments to clients.
• Maintaining direct contact with clients to provide proactive solutions and problem resolutions aligned with bank service standards.
• Opening consumer and business accounts for existing and new clients.
• Acting as a resource to Client Service Specialists, including filling in on teller functions such as cash transactions.
• Supporting branch goals by identifying and referring bank products and services to internal business partners.
• Resolving client issues and requests with strong follow-through.
• Building familiarity with business, consumer, and trust entities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• 1 year of teller or other banking experience (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of consumer banking and business products and services.
• Ability and desire to develop consumer lending skills.
• Proficiency in handling cash, balancing accounts, and performing accurate calculations.
• Ability to expand client relationships with an emphasis on creating new and existing relationships.
• Ability to obtain a Nationwide Multistate Licensing and Registry (NMLS) license (preferred).

Benefit eligibility begins the first day of the month following hire for associates scheduled to work at least thirty hours weekly.

Pay

The pay range for this role is $20.00 - $24.00 per hour. The final pay rate depends on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, education, and geographic location. The role may also be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation.
