About the Role

We’re seeking a Personal Banker to build lasting customer relationships while delivering personalized financial solutions and exceptional service. In this role, you’ll help customers open accounts, explore lending options, navigate digital banking services, and identify products that meet their unique needs. You’ll also support business development efforts and collaborate with teammates to create meaningful customer experiences.

Responsibilities

• Relationship Management & Customer Service: Build and strengthen customer relationships by providing personalized service, educating customers on C&N's products and services, and delivering an exceptional banking experience.
• Account Opening & Financial Solutions: Open consumer and business deposit accounts, assist with digital banking solutions, and recommend products and services that align with customers' financial needs and goals.
• Consumer Lending: Identify lending opportunities, assist customers with consumer loan products, originate eligible loan applications, and guide customers through the lending process.
• Business Development: Support branch business development efforts by building community relationships, participating in outreach activities, and collaborating with business partners to identify referral opportunities.
• Branch Operations: Provide support with teller transactions and branch operations as needed while maintaining compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Education & Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) AND 2-4 years of previous related experience in a customer service setting, preferably in a banking environment OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Recommended Certifications: NMLS (within 1 year of employment).
