Personal Bankers are enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals with proven success at delivering solutions that help clients achieve financial freedom and peace of mind. They build professional relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their financial needs, deliver valuable products and services to meet those needs, and complete the account opening process accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provides service consistent with client service standards, including resolving problems, building relationships, handling special requests, greeting clients in a friendly manner, and taking ownership to ensure follow-through and timely resolution
• Promotes consumer and small business banking products and services using direct sales techniques in and around the banking center, including handing out product brochures, engaging potential clients in conversations about banking needs, and speaking knowledgeably and positively about the bank's products and services
• Achieves specific sales goals on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Develops and maintains relationships with business partners to maximize opportunities and achieve sales standards
• Provides a broad base of financial services with the goal of earning 100% of the client's business
• Opens checking and savings accounts, processes client transactions, and recommends other bank products, including credit cards and loans
• Demonstrates digital expertise by using digital platforms and educating clients and associates about digital banking platforms, including online banking, bill pay, external transfers, mobile banking app, text alerts, mobile deposits, smart ATM/ITMs, chat box, and other self-service channels
• Works closely with clients and business partners to refer products and services to other business lines
• Educates and provides clients with other banking services; resolves client concerns and issues efficiently and effectively
• Conducts operational tasks related to protecting client and bank assets and regulatory compliance, including properly documenting account opening, accounting for cash and negotiable instruments under dual control, accurately completing logs and records, and ensuring accuracy of all regulatory and procedural documentation
• Protects all client information, bank trade secrets, and business records as confidential, and follows all company policies for communication
• When delegated by the Banking Center Manager, implements all banking center operations procedures, including accurate maintenance of cash supplies, timely auditing, accurate documentation of banking transactions, compliance requirements, and acts with overall operational integrity
• Maintains current knowledge and consistent compliance with regulations and bank policies, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) requirements, Associate Handbook policies, and Operations, Audit, and Security policies
• Completes monthly training in a timely manner to ensure knowledge of bank regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures
• Performs other specified duties as assigned

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay rate: $20.00 to $24.50 per hour depending on experience
• Eligible for additional incentive compensation monthly based on achievement of established incentive goals
