Personal Bankers are enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals with proven success at delivering solutions that help our clients achieve financial freedom and peace of mind. They build professional relationships with existing and potential clients to understand their financial needs, deliver valuable products and services, and complete the account opening process accurately.
Responsibilities
- Provides "fast, easy, and personal" service consistent with company client service standards, including resolving problems, building relationships, handling special requests, and greeting clients in a friendly manner.
- Promotes consumer/small business banking products and services to clients and prospects using direct sales techniques, including handing out brochures, engaging in conversations about banking needs, and speaking knowledgeably about the bank's products and services.
- Achieves specific sales goals on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Develops and maintains relationships with business partners to maximize opportunities and achieve sales standards.
- Provides a broad base of financial services with the goal of earning 100% of the client's business.
- Opens checking and savings accounts, processes client transactions, and recommends other bank products, including credit cards and loans.
- Actively demonstrates digital expertise by using and educating clients and associates about digital banking platforms, including online banking, mobile banking, smart ATM/ITM's, and other self-service channels.
- Works closely with clients and business partners to refer products and services to other business lines.
- Educates clients on banking services and resolves concerns efficiently and effectively.
- Conducts operational tasks related to protecting client and bank assets, including regulatory compliance, account opening documentation, cash and negotiable instrument management, and maintaining accurate records.
- Protects client information, bank trade secrets, and business records as confidential, following all company policies.
- Implements banking center operations procedures when delegated by the Banking Center Manager, including cash supply maintenance, auditing, transaction documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Maintains current knowledge of regulations, bank policies, and procedures, including BSA, OFAC, and Associate Handbook policies, through regular training.
- Completes monthly training to ensure knowledge of bank regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
Pay
The Personal Banker position pay rate is $20.00 to $24.50 per hour, depending on experience. This position is eligible for additional incentive compensation monthly, based on achievement of established incentive goals.
