Responsibilities

• Provide "fast, easy, and personal" service consistent with company client service standards, including resolving problems, building relationships, handling special requests, greeting clients in a friendly manner, and taking ownership to ensure follow-through and timely resolution.
• Promote consumer and small business banking products and services to clients and prospects using direct sales techniques in and around the assigned banking center, including distributing product brochures, engaging potential clients in conversations about banking needs, and speaking knowledgeably about the bank's products and services.
• Achieve specific sales goals on a daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Develop and maintain relationships with business partners to maximize opportunities and achieve sales standards.
• Provide a broad base of financial services with the goal of earning 100% of the client's business.
• Open checking and savings accounts, process client transactions, and recommend other bank products, including credit cards and loans.
• Demonstrate digital expertise by using and educating clients and associates about digital banking platforms, such as online banking, bill pay, mobile banking app (including text alerts and mobile deposits), smart ATMs/ITMs, and chatbox.
• Work closely with clients and business partners to refer products and services to other business lines.
• Educate and provide clients with other banking services; resolve client concerns and issues efficiently and effectively.
• Conduct operational tasks ethically to protect client and bank assets, including proper documentation of account opening, accounting for cash and negotiable instruments under dual control, and accurately completing logs and records.
• Protect all client information and bank trade secrets as confidential, following all company policies for communication with clients, vendors, and associates.
• Implement banking center operations procedures when delegated by the Banking Center Manager, including accurate maintenance of cash supplies, timely auditing, documentation of transactions, and compliance requirements.
• Maintain current knowledge and compliance with regulations and bank policies, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Associate Handbook policies, and Operations, Audit, and Security policies through regular training.
• Complete monthly training in a timely manner to ensure knowledge of bank regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other specified duties as assigned.

Pay

The Personal Banker position pay rate is $20.00 to $26.50 per hour, depending on experience. This position is eligible for additional monthly incentive compensation based on achievement of established goals.
