Personal Banker Associate - Woodward

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and facilitate a welcoming and customer-focused environment
• Provide extraordinary customer service while achieving goals and supporting the banking center staff as needed
• Build and maintain relationships with customers to help identify financial products and services that meet their needs
• Promote financial products and services
• Open deposit accounts and take loan applications, process consumer loan/credit line requests for customers
• Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a balanced cash drawer and adhering to internal controls and procedures
• Generate new business and expand relationships with current customers through networking and Centers of Influence
• Respond to customer inquiries and concerns and create positive solutions
• Support other employees as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of one year successful sales experience in an incentive-driven or relational selling environment; demonstrated performance in meeting and exceeding goals
• Minimum of 6 months cash handling and/or Point of Sale (POS) transaction experience in a retail sales or food industry environment
• Must have a current Notary or be willing to become one (pursued at the Bank's expense)
• Able to generate referrals including making on-site visits with local businesses
• Work effectively as a team member and with customers
• Strong work ethic and high integrity
• Proficient with all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.)
• Friendly, outgoing, assertive, confident, and enthusiastic personality

Preferred Skills

• Successful sales record in a retail banking environment; with knowledge of bank services and products
• Bilingual (fluent verbal and written Spanish) skills

Physical Requirements

• This position requires long periods of standing or sitting as well as typing and repetitive motion
• Candidates must possess the ability to lift and carry cash drawers, coin bags, and boxes sometimes weighing as much as 25 pounds

MidFirst Banking Center Hours of Operations

Monday - Friday from 7:45 a.m. - 6:15 p.m. and Saturday from 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. (Full time employees are scheduled for 40 hours per week within these time frames)

Candidates must be available to work weekend hours.
