Personal Banker Associate II - Hollywood Denovo FC
About the Role
Selected candidates will undergo a 4-8 week on-boarding and education program, including rotations in Operations and Sales & Service, to become a Retail Personal Banker II. The program concludes with a certification to demonstrate skills necessary for the role. This position focuses on sales development, relationship building, and promoting deposits, loans, and fee-based services while retaining customers.
Responsibilities
- Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify financial needs.
- Maintain knowledge of Retail consumer and small business products/services, recommending appropriate solutions.
- Utilize CAMP and other marketing tools to proactively reach out to customers and set appointments for financial reviews.
- Engage in cross-selling to existing customers and participate in outside sales activities (e.g., onsite presentations, business calls, community events).
- Establish relationships with Business Partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, Investment) for holistic financial solutions.
- Meet/exceed customer experience and production goals, enhancing year-over-year revenue growth.
- Provide guidance to Customer Service Representatives (CSRs) on sales and referral processes.
- Promote customer satisfaction with professionalism and a friendly demeanor.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
- Follow policies and procedures for opening/servicing Retail products and participate in loan processes.
- Stay updated on Retail procedures to mitigate fraudulent activity and risk.
Qualifications
- College degree, transferable work experience, or a combination of education and experience.
- Experience in the financial industry preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities for acquiring new customers and cross-selling.
- Understanding of advanced math functions for credit and financial analysis.
- Professional representation in appearance and communication.
- Ability to develop knowledge of Retail policies and procedures for sound decision-making.
- S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) required.
Working Conditions
- Normal office environment with extended computer screen viewing.
- Travel within the affiliate for training and scheduling flexibility required.
- Occasional travel outside the affiliate for classroom training sessions.
