About the role
The Assistant Vice President will play a key leadership role in the financial management, reporting, and operations of a self-administered, open-ended private infrastructure fund. The role partners closely with senior internal stakeholders, external service providers, and auditors, with accountability across fund accounting, NAV oversight, liquidity management, and SEC reporting.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day fund accounting and reporting, including NAV oversight, capital activity, fee and promote calculations, and quarterly close deliverables
- Lead coordination with internal and external auditors, including audit execution and SOX control oversight
- Partner with cross-functional teams on preparation and review of 10-Q, 10-K, and other recurring SEC filings
- Monitor and manage fund liquidity across the structure, supporting investor subscriptions, redemptions, distributions, and treasury operations to ensure adherence to the fund’s distribution policy
- Prepare and review accounting policy memoranda for new transactions and evolving accounting standards
- Lead and mentor junior team members; contribute to continuous process improvement and ad-hoc strategic initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- 6+ years of public and/or private accounting experience, with exposure to public companies, open-ended funds, or private markets
- Strong understanding of SEC reporting and complex fund structures
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and effective in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay
Expected annual base salary range: $135,000 - $200,000
