Permitting Specialist - Experienced Level

Responsibilities

• Perform high-level administrative activities to support multiple types of projects across various programs.
• Research and coordinate permit and code requirements for specific projects with program teams, clients, and municipalities.

Requirements

Must have all of the following:

• High school diploma or GED and 1 year of work experience in an office environment.
• 3 years' experience in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• 1 year of applicable work experience in permitting commercial projects.

Qualifications

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction, Architecture, Engineering, or related field.
• Applicable work experience in an Architectural or Engineering firm.
• Knowledge of Bluebeam or Smartsheets.
• Able to understand and explain a project's scope of work.
• 2 or more years of applicable work experience in permitting.
• Experience working directly with clients.
