As a Permanent Staff RRT in Corvallis, OR, you will be working in a Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostic role.

About the role

You will provide respiratory care services under the direction of a physician. This includes performing diagnostic procedures, administering medications, and monitoring patient conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures such as arterial blood gas analysis, pulse oximetry, and chest physiotherapy.
• Administer medications as ordered by a physician, including nebulizers and oxygen therapy.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.
• Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Oregon.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in using medical equipment and technology.

Skills

• Knowledge of respiratory physiology and pathophysiology.
• Skilled in performing advanced airway management techniques.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR).

Pay
