As a Permanent Staff RRT in Cookeville, TN, you will be working in a Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostic role.
About the role
You will be responsible for providing respiratory care services to patients under the direction of a physician. This includes administering treatments such as nebulizers, oxygen therapy, and monitoring patient vital signs.
Responsibilities
- Administering respiratory treatments including nebulizers and oxygen therapy
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Monitoring and recording patient vital signs
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- Current RRT certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in a clinical setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
