Job description

AMI is looking for a Keyholder to join their Greene location. Reporting to the Store Manager, the Keyholder will ensure the store runs efficiently. Key responsibilities include:

  • Driving sales and performance, creating engaging client experiences, and building long-term relationships.
  • Supporting the team to achieve individual and store sales targets.
  • Identifying business opportunities and challenges to initiate changes and improve the business.
  • Engaging with customers, offering a unique experience, and assisting them in exploring the world of AMI.
  • Welcome customers according to AMI values, ensuring they are friendly, smiling, and in a good mood.
  • Understanding customer needs and proposing relevant product selections, encouraging cross-selling.
  • Assisting customers during fittings and accommodating any alterations.
  • Building a customer loyalty culture and introducing new customers to the brand.
  • Supporting the team to achieve sales targets by organizing stockrooms and maintaining accurate stock levels.
  • Bringing the team together by representing and transmitting AMI culture, sharing products and brand knowledge.
  • Continually sharing new skills and selling techniques with the team.
  • Conducting fun and energetic morning meetings and team debriefs, working collaboratively with the team to strategize daily tasks and focuses.
  • Ensuring the store is well-maintained, presenting products, maintaining cleanliness, and overseeing the premises.
  • Participating in visual merchandising activities, actively participating in HQ directives and guidelines, and proposing new ideas for optimal selling.
  • Managing and tracking best-selling and slow-selling items, supporting inventory tracking, and informing managers of any stock errors.
  • Aiding in updating store trackers and communications boards for in-store use.
  • Managing the cash vault and setting up cash pickups through Brinks.
  • Controlling and overseeing deliveries, transfers, damages, cycle counts, end-of-season activities, and all other back-of-house operations.
  • Developing and sharing ideas to increase efficiency, supporting store initiatives and projects as needed.

Job requirements

  • At least 2+ years of experience in retail management.
  • Experience in stock managing, operations, or retail preferred.
  • Familiarity with sales techniques.
  • Social, dynamic, involved, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong sense of team leadership and ability to deliver results beyond expectations.
  • Mastering customer service skills and demonstrating an ability to foster a customer-service spirit.
  • Strong interest and good understanding of fashion, the luxury market, and its trends.
  • A second language would be appreciated.
