Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality respiratory therapy to patients per physician orders and protocols.
  • Assess patient needs, document progress, and adjust treatments accordingly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
  • Meet or exceed departmental productivity and quality targets using data dashboards.
  • Collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes in the EMR system.
  • Participate in continuous professional development and attend mandatory trainings.
  • Supervise and mentor entry-level RT staff and students as applicable.
  • Monitor and manage device inventories, ordering supplies as needed.
  • Educate patients and families about therapies, devices, and discharge plans.
  • Engage in pipeline planning and territory coverage to support growth targets.

Requirements

  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with current licensure.
  • Experience delivering inpatient respiratory therapy per physician orders.
  • Strong infection control and safety protocol adherence.
  • Proficiency with EMR documentation and progress note standards.
  • Ability to interpret data dashboards and meet productivity targets.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and mandatory trainings.
  • Leadership experience supervising RT staff or students.
  • Competence in inventory management and supply ordering.
  • Ability to educate patients and families on therapies, devices, and discharge plans.
  • Participation in pipeline planning and territory coverage for growth.

Qualifications
