Perioperative Attendant (40 hr, Nights)

Job Responsibilities

• Assists with transport of patients
• Independent transport of patients
• Assists with positioning of patients
• Cleaning and set-up of OR rooms and PACU bays
• Performs thorough, timely, routine cleaning of Operating Room suites between cases and at the end of the day
• Cleans and reports equipment that is out of order to the charge nurse
• Aids nursing staff in performing safety/restraint measures according to policy
• Reports to charge nurse any observations, patient complaints, and other pertinent information regarding the condition of patients as needed
• Handles and disposes of linen and trash using principles of Infection Control according to hospital policy

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both in writing and verbally in English
• Basic familiarity with computers

Pay Range

$20.00 - $26.92 per hour
