Periop Services Assistant Lead, TUH

About the role

Provides various patient care and environmental services to the operating room and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to ensure a clean and safe perioperative department.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients, supplies, instruments, and equipment throughout perioperative and procedural areas.
• Cleans between cases in operating rooms to ensure efficient use of operating room resources.
• Collaborates with and ensures the operating room is properly equipped and prepared to care for all patients.
• Assists in providing direct patient care as assigned to patients undergoing surgical procedures under the direction of the surgical team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• 2 years experience as an OR Attendant Required
