About the role

The Perfusionist position at SpecialtyCare in Largo, FL is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated team of eight Perfusionists supporting three talented surgeons. The caseload includes CABGs, valves, transplants, and ECMO procedures, with an average of 125 cases per year per Perfusionist.

Responsibilities

• Supports three talented surgeons in performing adult-only heart surgeries.
• Pumps up to 125 cases per year on average.
• Works on-call, with the requirement to live within 30 minutes from the hospital.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Perfusion training program, minimum required.
• Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) or must obtain within two years of joining SpecialtyCare.
• Ability to work on-call and live within 30 minutes from the hospital.
