Perfusionist

About the Role

Assists physicians in the medical center by performing all duties necessary to provide perfusion services during cardiac, vascular, ECMO, and other surgical cases. Reports to the Manager-Perfusion Services. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy’s mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Must hold a license as a Licensed Clinical Perfusionist (LCP) in the applicable state of practice.
• New graduate perfusionists acceptable; some experience preferred.
• Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) required; ABCP certified or eligible.
• Provisional licensure accepted for new graduates. LCP and CCP must be obtained within 1 year of employment date.
