About the Role
Assists physicians in the medical center by performing all duties necessary to provide perfusion services during cardiac, vascular, ECMO, and other surgical cases. Reports to the Manager-Perfusion Services. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with Mercy’s mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Must hold a license as a Licensed Clinical Perfusionist (LCP) in the applicable state of practice.
- New graduate perfusionists acceptable; some experience preferred.
- Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) required; ABCP certified or eligible.
- Provisional licensure accepted for new graduates. LCP and CCP must be obtained within 1 year of employment date.
