Performance Strategist
About the role
The Performance Strategist role at AdShark is responsible for the strategy, execution, and optimization of digital advertising activities for our local, regional, and national clients. This is a role unlike any other you’ll find in this market. Not only are you the one calling shots on strategy & analyzing performance to help companies grow; but you’ll also own the client relationship for each account you manage.

- Work with clients to establish profitable growth goals – helping identify ideal cost-per-lead or ROI targets and benchmarks to gauge success.
- Collaborate with our Creative team to develop compelling campaigns, promotions, and messaging.
- Lead regular Insight Meetings with clients – presenting performance, aligning on priorities, and proactively pitching next steps to continue growing.
- Research competitors, industry trends, and platform updates to always stay one step ahead and deliver increased marketing value & expertise to your clients.
- Onboard new clients and set them up for long-term success from day one.
- Build clear, meaningful reports that tell the real story behind the numbers.

- Immerse yourself in our award-winning culture & add to the magic at AdShark by being a great collaborator & value-adding member of the team.
Requirements
We don't look for years of agency experience, nor do we have lofty expectations for your current knowledge of digital advertising platforms. Rather, we look for a certain mindset:
- A will to win. You never settle for "good enough" and constantly look for ways to improve — in your work and your life.
- An analytical instinct. You don't need experience with data — you'll get plenty of that here. You just have to be the kind of person who naturally wants to know why. Why it worked, why it didn't, and what you'd change.
- Truth over ego. You're not trying to be right. You're trying to figure out what's actually going on, because that's the only way to make things better.
- Comfort in the unknown. You get more satisfaction from solving something on your own than working off an instruction manual. Point you in the right direction and get out of the way.
- Driven from within. You don't need external pressure to take initiative. Give you clear goals and the right support, and you'll run with it.
