About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Scientist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work on a variety of projects, from early-stage research and development to troubleshooting and optimization for our clients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers, applying your expertise in chemistry, materials science, or a related field to solve real-world problems. Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and analyze experiments to address client-specific challenges in areas such as formulation development, process optimization, and materials characterization.
  • Develop and validate analytical methods for chemical and materials analysis, including spectroscopy, chromatography, and microscopy techniques.
  • Interpret data, prepare technical reports, and present findings to clients and internal teams in a clear and concise manner.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, define project scopes, and deliver actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Stay current with scientific literature and emerging technologies to ensure our solutions are at the forefront of innovation.
  • Contribute to proposal development, including technical writing and cost estimation for new projects.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide scientific guidance on projects.
  • Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment, adhering to all safety protocols and best practices.

Requirements

  • PhD in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field, with a strong background in experimental research.
  • 3+ years of postdoctoral or industry experience in a research or development role, preferably in consulting, pharmaceuticals, or advanced materials.
  • Hands-on experience with analytical techniques such as HPLC, GC, NMR, FTIR, SEM, XRD, or thermal analysis (DSC, TGA).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Python, R, Origin, or MATLAB).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively to develop innovative solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Experience with project management, client interactions, or proposal development is a plus.
