Performance Modeling Engineer

Responsibilities

• Work on the next-gen ARM Architecture extensions.
• Contribute to interesting projects related to performance modeling and analysis, such as:
• Modeling a new feature in in-house performance models.
• Workload characterization.
• Analyzing performance using novel methods.
• Developing tools for automation and visualization of results.
• Collaborate with the wider performance modeling community within ARM.

Requirements

• MS (Masters) or BS (Bachelors) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with coursework in Computer Architecture.
• Prior experience in performance modeling & analysis for CPU microarchitecture.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong initiative, and openness to engaging and learning new concepts and sharing with collaborators.
• Strong programming skills in C, C++ for large-scale software development and proficiency in Python.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience with ARM Architecture preferred but not required.
