Performance Manager Position Summary
The Performance Manager is responsible for managing the hiring, performance evaluations, expense report approvals, compliance adherence and other duties as needed for the embedded sales representative team. The Performance Manager will work closely with the client managers and Amplity leadership. The Performance Manager will ensure approved tools for product and program promotion are used and maintain a competent level of program and customer activity knowledge.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide all interviewing and hiring activity for the client team
- Review and approve all employee expense reports
- Manage employee performance management, reviews, coaching, and terminations
- Effectively and compliantly communicate with customers
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Company Program
- Create and maintain a positive impression with Company and Company’s customers
- Prepare reports for management as needed
- Fully comply with all laws, regulations and Amplity and Company’s Health Policies, Code of Conduct, all privacy and data guidelines and relevant state and federal laws and regulations
- Participate in teleconferences and live (when required) National, regional and district meetings and training sessions and represent client at National and/or local conventions when applicable
- Travel average 50% which could include conventions or national meetings
Key Working Relationships
- Report to Amplity Leadership
- Work closely with other team members assigned to the Program, Amplity Project Management and members of Amplity home office support team from various departments
- Maintain a positive working relationship with customers and Company contacts
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Pharmaceutical representative management experience required
- Experience hiring, coaching and performance management of pharmaceutical sales representatives
- Must be able to demonstrate or secure appropriate credentialing, as may be required by healthcare providers for physical access to their facilities if any field-based activity
- Able to demonstrate a valid driver's license and safe driving record
- Able to travel to work related meetings and functions (including overnight and/or weekend)
- Demonstrated technical aptitude and working proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and meeting platforms including Zoom, Teams etc.
