ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Demonstrates and is responsible for all functions of the lab, including analytical techniques, data communication, and understanding of testing programs.
- Responsible for documenting daily throughput of designated processes.
- Demonstrates excellent verbal communications, which facilitates technical information transfer.
- Affords assistance in implementing a laboratory quality assurance program, including instrumentation maintenance and calibration, control sample testing and review, and all documentation required of a sound program.
- Works with other Lab Technicians on assigned processes. Coordinates and completes assignments through collaboration with team members.
- Interacts in a positive manner with management, leaders, and coworkers.
- Effectively manages time and prioritizes tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Participates in laboratory and plant safety programs, following company policies regarding safety and environmental issues.
- Responsible for performing job duties in compliance with RCRA hazardous waste requirements, including proper handling, labeling, storage, and management of hazardous waste in accordance with applicable procedures and training.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma
- 1+ years of laboratory experience
- Familiarity with common laboratory practices and techniques
- Bachelor's Degree in science-related field (Preferred)
- 3+ years of laboratory experience (Preferred)
- IATA/DOT shipper's certification (Preferred)
- Time Management (Preferred)

- Technical O&G Lab Knowledge (Preferred)
