Responsibilities

  • Lead the Performance Engineering Center of Excellence and define standards and governance models
  • Design and implement realistic workload models and performance baselines
  • Execute various types of performance testing and relay findings to engineering teams
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve engineering bottlenecks
  • Set automation coverage goals and guide the use of testing frameworks for efficient release quality assessment
  • Establish and monitor quality metrics across various non-functional requirements
  • Conduct release readiness assessments ensuring adherence to QA processes

Qualifications

  • 12+ years in Quality or Performance Engineering, with 4+ years in leadership roles managing QA teams of five or more
  • Ability to independently design, script, execute, and communicate performance tests and findings
  • Hands-on experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, or equivalent tools; advanced scripting and modeling skills required
  • Proficient in Java, Groovy, Python, or similar languages for building test scripts and automation support
  • Strong understanding of microservices, APIs, and distributed architectures, including cloud-native platforms
  • Experience integrating QA in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or equivalent tools
  • Knowledge of system performance tuning, JVM behavior, and database performance

Pay

$121,500 – $202,500 annually

Schedule
