About the role

The Performance & Cost Improvement (P&CI) team within Deloitte's Performance Improvement & Restructuring (PI&R) offering helps clients evaluate and execute initiatives that improve cost structure, cash flow, and enterprise value. This includes addressing financial pressure, improving operating performance, and stabilizing business results.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze operational, financial, and market data to identify value creation, cost optimization, and performance improvement opportunities
  • Develop business cases, pricing analyses, and financial models tailored to client objectives
  • Plan and support transformation engagements across industries, including coordinating workstreams, managing scope changes, and tracking progress against engagement objectives
  • Serve as a liaison between business needs and technology-enabled solutions to support implementation and execution
  • Contribute to proposal development and other practice-building activities, as requested

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of experience in management consulting in operations improvement, transformation, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) integration, or business process reengineering focused on cost reduction or growth strategy
  • 4+ years of experience in financial analysis using data from multiple sources to assess value creation opportunities
  • 4+ years of experience developing models using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, Visual Basic, Tableau, or similar tools
  • 2+ years of experience supporting mergers and acquisitions (M&A) or other M&A service delivery

Pay

$128,000 to $252,500

Schedule

On average, 50% travel required based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
