What You Will Be Doing
- Facilitating one-hour workshops on essential competencies (public speaking, focus, feedback exchange) for K-8 cohorts, executing Alpha's established playbook with precision rather than creating original content
- Conducting motivation interventions using student data and Alpha's reward infrastructure (campus currency, performance rankings) to achieve 100% goal attainment across your cohort
- Developing Guides on program adherence and standard enforcement, ensuring each coaching interaction generates clear performance improvements
- Managing your own student cohort concurrently with Guide development responsibilities
- Monitoring student satisfaction metrics, goal completion percentages, and Guide effectiveness data weekly to identify performance gaps before they escalate
Basic Requirements
- Available for on-campus work at one of these locations: Atlanta, GA; Oklahoma City, OK; Tulsa, OK; Austin, TX; Keller (Fort Worth), TX; The Woodlands (Houston), TX (relocation assistance available)
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related discipline
- 5+ years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, youth leadership, or comparable domains
- Demonstrated history of leading teams of 5 or more professionals, including experience with hiring and performance-based termination decisions
- Hands-on experience working with children ages 5-14 in educational or developmental contexts
- Record of building, launching, or substantially scaling a program, team, business, school, or initiative
- Established practice of leveraging data and metrics to establish weekly objectives and inform decisions, beyond simple reporting
- Legal authorization to work in the United States or Canada
Nice-to-have Requirements
- Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or related area
- Experience coaching athletics, leading outdoor or experiential education programs, managing camps, or directing youth ministry programs at scale with cohort management and outcome measurement
- Transitioned from classroom instruction to program leadership roles in EdTech, tutoring organizations, youth-focused nonprofits, or school support systems
- History of exceptional individual achievement — academic, athletic, or professional — early in your career prior to leadership roles
- Conviction that traditional education systems require fundamental restructuring and personal commitment to that transformation
