Performance Auditor (Lead)

About the Position

This is senior level lead professional audit and investigation work in the areas of performance, financial auditing and budget review. Incumbents perform complex auditing assignments in assigned functional areas.

Qualifications

• Candidates must meet all minimum qualifications listed below to be eligible for additional consideration:
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Public Administration, Business Administration or a closely related field.
• Two (2) years of professional experience in auditing and/or accounting.
• An equivalent combination of education, experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

• Highly qualified candidates may also demonstrate the preferred qualifications listed below:
• Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• Eight (8) or more years of professional experience in auditing and/or accounting.
