About the role
This Performance Analyst position introduces you to the investment industry, offering multiple career paths and long-term growth. Based in Boston, you will learn about the sector, global capital markets, and portfolio investments, then apply that knowledge to support team members across the firm.
Responsibilities
- Learn and apply investment knowledge to select appropriate benchmarks and peer universe comparisons for all investments and plans.
- Utilize custodian bank downloads and data files for input into a proprietary performance measurement system.
- Maintain monthly cash flows for 25–30 assigned client accounts by calculating and reconciling monthly investment valuations, transactions, fees, and investment returns for marketable and nonmarketable investments.
- Calculate portfolio characteristics for client reports, including equity, fixed income, hedge funds, and real assets.
- Analyze client meeting reports in a timely manner and ensure all job-specific action items are completed.
- Deliver accurate and timely monthly executive summaries and quarterly reports for client relationships.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; Finance or business-related field strongly preferred.
- Prior certification, progress toward, or willingness to pursue CFA or CAIA preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail, strict adherence to deadlines, and advanced problem-solving skills.
- Must be a team player with effective time management and multitasking abilities.
- Intermediate to advanced experience in PowerPoint and Excel, particularly with financial functions and chart generation.

Pay
This role is classified at grade level 4, with a starting base salary range of $56,900–$69,700. Placement within this range depends on skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. All positions are bonus-eligible.
