Per-Diem Social Service Counselor (Overnight)

Responsibilities

• Provides consumers with daily supervision, supportive counseling, and assistance with their activities of daily living skills.
• Observes consumers self-administer their prescribed medication and provides daily medication education.
• Facilitates social, recreational, and therapeutic activities with consumers.
• Utilizes crisis intervention skills as required.

Qualifications

• BSW in social work, BA/BS in psychology, criminal justice, sociology, or a related field.
• BA in an unrelated field with two years of previous experience.
• AA in a related field with two years of previous experience.
• Previous experience desired.
• Valid New Jersey driver’s license.

Location

Lyndhurst, New Jersey

Schedule

• Monday to Friday – 12:30 am–8:30 am
• Weekends (Sat–Sun) – 12:30 am–8:30 am
