Per Diem School Van Driver

Per diem/as-needed school van driver positions providing transportation for students to and from school, specialized programs, and other approved educational activities.

Schedule

• Per diem/as-needed position
• Flexible hours based on district transportation needs
• Morning, afternoon, and occasional midday routes may be available
• Opportunity for additional hours based on district needs

Requirements

• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license with at least a three-year clean record
• Must obtain and maintain a “V” endorsement (Public Passenger Endorsement) throughout employment
• Must obtain an R-360 bus safety training certificate
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be trained in CPR and First Aid, and maintain valid certification throughout employment
• Must pass a criminal history check, fingerprinting, and DCF Central Registry check
