About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse - First Assist to provide specialized intraoperative support in a dynamic surgical environment.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with surgeons to perform intraoperative procedures
- Assist with room setup and teardown
- Ensure patient safety and optimal surgical outcomes
- Maintain hemostasis
- Assist with local anesthesia
- Support the surgical team with technical functions during procedures
Requirements
- A current NV nursing license
- OR certification (CNOR)
- CRNFA or RNAS-C certifications, which must be kept current
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- NRP applicable for obstetric areas
