Per Diem Registered Nurse Level III

This role involves providing direct nursing care within a specialized department, such as PCU, ICU, or ED, independently of patient location. Key responsibilities include delivering safe patient care, developing and implementing individualized care plans, assisting with tests and procedures, administering medications, and ensuring accurate medical records. The nurse will participate in orientation, serve as a preceptor for new staff, and respond to emergency situations. Maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment, promoting patient safety, and encouraging patient participation are essential duties. The position requires adherence to hospital policies, ongoing professional development, and active involvement in safety protocols. Qualifications include a graduate of an accredited nursing program, with at least one year of related experience. Necessary credentials are current RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS certification. Preferred qualifications include bilingual abilities and additional certifications such as PALS or TNCC. Physical capability to perform heavy work and adherence to safety protocols are required, along with experience working with diverse patient populations across age groups.
