Per Diem Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

Role Overview: The Inpatient Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing activities to ensure safety, satisfaction, and high-quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities Perform patient assessments and address physical, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual needs.Develop and coordinate individualized care plans, including patient and family education and discharge planning.Administer treatments, medications, and diagnostic studies following policies and procedures.Evaluate intervention effectiveness and adjust care plans accordingly.Collaborate proactively with physicians, ancillary staff, and interdisciplinary teams to resolve patient needs.Troubleshoot equipment issues and participate in evidence-based practice decision-making.Contribute to unit safety, quality improvement, and safety education programs. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a nursing specialty training program; critical care experience preferred but not required. Demonstrates strong assessment skills, accountability, teamwork, and compassionate care.
