Per Diem / PRN Radiology Technologist - $43 per hour

About the role

Assists Cardiologists with select procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab. Performs all functions related to circulating, scrubbing, recording, and x-ray duties. Provides direct patient care, basic interpretation of hemodynamics, ECG, and medication administration. Troubleshoots all Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab equipment with minimal assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist Cardiologists during procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab
• Perform circulating, scrubbing, recording, and x-ray duties
• Provide direct patient care
• Interpret hemodynamics and ECG
• Administer medications
• Troubleshoot Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab equipment with minimal assistance

Requirements

• Associate Degree required or two years of formal education or training beyond high school
• Minimum of 1 year of CVT experience
• Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date
• For units that require American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date
• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification required

Schedule

• 10-hour shifts, days
• Up to 40 hours per week
• Shift: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Pay

$42.60 - $42.60 per hour
