Per Diem / PRN Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $50 per hour

About the role

Halcyon Nurse Staffing is seeking a per diem / prn nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for ongoing work up to 12.00 hours per week, with shifts of 12 hours, days.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and competent care to patients in a Med Surg / Telemetry setting.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including infection control protocols.
• Assess patient needs and develop care plans accordingly.
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in North Carolina.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience in Med Surg / Telemetry preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology.
