Per Diem / PRN Nurse RN - Med Surg - $45-47 per hour

About the role

Per diem / PRN Med Surg RN position in Mount Clemens, Michigan. Ongoing, 12-hour day or night shifts available.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a Medical Surgical unit
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care
• Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards

Requirements

• 2+ years of Med/Surg nursing experience
• 1 year of experience in a Trauma Level I or II facility
• Cerner EMR experience
• Current, unencumbered Michigan RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Two supervisory reference forms from the last two years
• Valid driver’s license
• COVID-19 vaccination record
• Current flu shot

Benefits

• Day pay: $45/hour
• Night pay: $47/hour
• Overtime pay at 1.5x the hourly rate
