Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of nursing procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered by a physician.
• Assess patients’ conditions, record observations, and report changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare provider.
• Provide direct patient care, including but not limited to blood product administration, central line care/management, chest tubes-Emerson/PleurEvac, continuous bladder irrigation (CBI), CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), feeding tube care and management, heparin protocols, isolation precautions/PPE, MS/Tele, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen tanks, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, renal failure, starting and maintaining IVs, telemetry, telemetry - remote monitoring, total joint replacement, use of rapid response/code teams.
• Ensure proper documentation of patient care activities in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Participate in ongoing education and training related to patient care practices.

Requirements

• 2.0 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current certification in ACLS, BLS, and State Licensure.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacology.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with electronic health records systems.
