About the Role
Provide compassionate, skilled nursing care to patients in a medical/surgical setting. Assist with a variety of patient care activities, including but not limited to:
- Assist with ambulation
- Assist with feeding patient
- Assist with turning and repositioning
- Bed shampoo
- Change linens (occupied, unoccupied)
- Complete Bed bath
- Pressure Injury Prevention
- Foot care
- Urinary/Stool Incontinence Care
- Mouth care
- Perineal care male/female
- Shave patient
- Shower assistance
- Skin care
- Oxygen tanks
- Pulse Oximetry
- Donning and removing PPE
- Isolation Precautions/PPE
- Glucose point of care testing
- Obtain Blood pressure, including orthostatic
- Obtain patient Respirations
- Obtain pulse (radial)
- Obtain Temperature (oral, rectal, axillary, Tympanic)
- Abnormal/Normal Vital sign parameters (Adult and Pedi)
- Safe patient transfers
- Reporting change in patient condition
- Middle Adult
- Older Adult
